Normally I would never recomend a Siberian Husky for a first family dog. They have tendency to wander, a proclivity towards selective hearing, and notoriously terrible recall. A Husky can also be a bit alpha and they need a TON of exercise.
But I am changing my mind after meeting Bella.
My friend Tracy and her family hit the jackpot when they brought Bella home.
Bella is calm and cuddly, smart, loving and patient with great recall.
Bella also has Heterochomia, that means she has two different color eyes. This is relatively common amonst Siberian Huskies.
Tracy plans to get a dog scooter so she can put all Bella's instinct to pull to to work, and keep Bella calm and happy.
My friends wont let me get a dog scooter. They say I'm too clumsy. I'm sure I don't know what they mean.
