The first picture I shot of Henry that wasn't a white blur
Henry came to stay today
I take pictures of all the dogs who stay with me. Most of the time they ham it up sticking their noses in my lens and striking cute poses. But not Henry.
Henry is camera shy.
I’m trying to figure out why.
It could be that the mechanics of the camera just freak him out, or perhaps something more sinister. He was a rescue dog. His people found him at the pound.
It could be that Henry is in the witness protection program. Maybe the dog of some Don turned stool pigeon—a dog who has seen too much. Maybe his hair used to be brown and he bleached it. Maybe he’s wearing blue contacts, but one fell out.
Maybe he is a celebrity tired of life in the public eye. He just wanted to be a normal dog, running after other dogs, going on walks, jumping on beds, chasing cats, sleeping all day and eating tasty kibbles.
It’s possible that he is an alien. Sent here to study the behavior of people with their dogs, so that he and his alien kind can infiltrate our society, take advantage of our love for dogs and eventually take over the world.
Whatever the reason, Henry will not sit still for a photo.
I had to hide in the bushes to take this blurry shot of Henry dancing with wolf.
I like the post celebrity theory!!! He is just tired of the paparazzi!

I'm going with the alien theory. Henry is way too smart to be a dog.
